- I have a deep passion for mathematics and informatics, which I continue to pursue after this competition by tackling challenging problems and contests on platforms like Codeforces and LeetCode.
- Additionally, participating in numerous PIMA events has allowed me to immerse myself in the beauty of “hard” and pure mathematics, enriching my understanding and appreciation for the subject.
4-Doing research at Software Engineering Lab

- Published the paper “RotCAtt-TransUNet++: A Novel Deep Neural Network for Sophisticated Cardiac Segmentation” in the IEEE journal, presented at the MAPR 2024 conference.
- Conducting research on temporal mapping in video understanding, with the goal of presenting at the VBS 2025 conference in Japan.
- Investigating the use of synthetic data for camouflaged wildlife detection and analysis.
- Continuing research in computer graphics, focusing on 3D reconstruction, depth estimation, and advancements in VR/AR/XR technologies.
3-Counselling & leading the scientific research club
From May 2024, until now
- Leading, mentoring, and teaching the scientific research club at Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted.
- Guiding students on developing strong research ideas, writing and publishing impactful research papers, and presenting their work logically and effectively.
- Providing tutoring on project-related topics, including reinforcement learning, computer graphics, and astrophysics.

1-Internship as a Apprentice AI engineer at CoTAI Studio
June to December 2024
- Conducted research and engineering in the field of computer vision. Explored this repository for details. The research journey spanned from the history of computer vision (e.g., MobileNet, GoogleNet, DenseNet, ResNet, RepVGG) to modern advancements like SAM, DINOv2, DETR, and GANs.
- Investigated image and video retrieval methods, focusing on multimodal feature extraction. Developed and deployed a retrieval system on both local servers and AWS cloud. See this paper “Multimodal Contextualized Support for Enhancing Video Retrieval System” for more details.
- Gained expertise with Docker for efficient engineering workflows. Deployed ONNX models on various backends such as TensorRT and OpenVINO. Deployed and served AI models using tools like Triton Inference Server and FastAPI.

Computer graphics with computer vision

The CTO of Gianty from Tiger Funding has shown interest in funding my software for use in universities as learning materials or in hospitals for experiments. However, I’ve decided to refine it further. Driven by my passion for computer graphics, I’ve embarked on building a 3D graphics engine capable of simulating advanced physical properties like blood flow, heartbeats, and neuron activation. This engine has potential applications in robotics training simulations and aligns with global trends like NVIDIA Omniverse. My work bridges computer graphics and computer vision, exploring their applications in fields such as medical, robotics, and synthetic data.
